SOUL WEALTH REBIRTH CHRONICLES ISSUE 102
The Timeline I Didn’t Realize I Completed
There was a question floating around recently:
“What happened on April 8, 2024?”
At first, I didn’t think much of it.
But something in me paused.
Not because I remembered the exact date…
but because I remembered the feeling.
So I went back.
Not to search for answers…
but to see who I was.
And I found it the way I always do…
through my journal.
The place where I’ve poured my thoughts,
my emotions,
my confusion,
my clarity…
in real time.
Not polished.
Not filtered.
Just honest.
Because the truth is…
I didn’t remember the details.
I remembered the phase.
The emotions.
The energy of that time in my life.
But it was the journaling that brought the details back to me.
It allowed me to sit with that version of myself again….
not from memory…
but from truth.
What I found wasn’t a breakthrough moment.
It wasn’t clarity.
It wasn’t peace.
It was me…
in the middle of it.
Overwhelmed.
Emotional.
Exhausted.
Trying to make sense of everything I was feeling while also trying to hold it together.
I had taken a day off work because I simply couldn’t show up.
Not physically.
Not mentally.
Not emotionally.
I remember feeling:
sad…
irritated…
alone…
disappointed…
And if I’m honest…
I was still hoping something would go the way I wanted it to.
Even though deep down…
I already knew.
There was a moment in that entry where I said:
“I don’t need him in my life.”
And when I read that back now…
I realized something.
That wasn’t just about a person.
That was a decision.
At the time, it didn’t feel powerful.
It felt like disappointment.
Like something didn’t work out.
Like I had to accept what was.
But looking at it now?
That was the moment I chose myself.
Not loudly.
Not boldly.
Not in a way anyone else would recognize.
But quietly…
internally…
decisively.
And what I didn’t realize then was this:
When you make a decision like that,
life begins to rearrange around it.
Not immediately.
Not in a straight line.
But consistently.
The version of me from that time:
reacted to everything
felt everything deeply
and struggled to separate what was hers from what wasn’t
The version of me now:
observes
pauses
chooses what to engage with
and walks away from what doesn’t align
Nothing about that growth was instant.
It wasn’t one moment.
It wasn’t one realization.
It was a series of experiences that didn’t feel good…
but were necessary.
There were places I thought I was meant to be that didn’t work out.
There were people I thought were meant for me who weren’t.
There were paths I believed would lead to something…
that ultimately led me back to myself.
And that’s the part I understand now:
Not everything that feels aligned is meant to stay.
Some things are meant to:
open you
show you
shift you
and then… release you
I used to think certain connections were permanent.
Now I understand that some people are:
catalysts
mirrors
and turning points
Not destinations.
Looking back at that version of me…
I don’t feel embarrassment.
I don’t feel regret.
I feel compassion.
Because she was doing the best she could
with what she knew at the time.
And more than that…
She was already becoming me.
What I wrote that day still stands:
Everything is working out for my highest good.
Just not in the way I thought it would.
Not in the timeline I expected.
Not in the form I imagined.
But when I look at my life now…
I can see it clearly.
The decisions I made then,
especially the quiet ones….
created the life I’m stepping into now.
I didn’t miss my moment.
I moved through it.
And maybe that’s the realization:
You don’t always recognize the turning point
when you’re standing in it.
Sometimes…
you only see it when you’ve finally outgrown it.
And if there’s one thing I’ve learned through all of this…
it’s that documenting your life,
even when it feels messy, confusing, or unfinished
becomes one of the most powerful ways to see your growth.
Because sometimes the clarity doesn’t come in the moment.
Sometimes it comes when you go back and realize…
you made it through.
With grace,
Natalie
