Soul Wealth Chronicles- Issue #11 (Special Edition)
You’re Not Crazy, You’re in Perimenopause
For so many of us, this season of life feels like being thrown into the deep end without a life jacket. Hot flashes, mood swings, night sweats, brain fog; they arrive without warning and can leave you questioning yourself.
But let me say this clearly: you are not crazy, and you are not alone.
In my generation, most of our mothers never talked about perimenopause or menopause. It was whispered about, dismissed, or hidden altogether. But even if the words weren’t spoken, I saw it.
I remember the sweet woman who raised me having moments of rage, saying sharp words, and seeming distant at times. As a child, I didn’t understand what was happening. Now, moving through perimenopause myself, I finally do.
Perimenopause can feel like a stranger moving into your body. It changes the rhythms you’ve always known. Some days you don’t feel like yourself at all. But this isn’t the end of your story, it’s an initiation into another phase of power, wisdom, and self-awareness.
I share this because we need to talk about it openly. To break the silence. To let each other know that our symptoms don’t define us. They remind us that our bodies are shifting, and that we are entering a new chapter our mothers may not have had the space to embrace.
✨ You are not broken.
✨ You are not alone.
✨ You are moving through a sacred passage.
And to the men reading this: perimenopause doesn’t just affect women, it touches the lives of partners, husbands, and families. My hope is that sharing openly helps you recognize the signs, respond with empathy, and better understand the women you love.
Let’s normalize this conversation for ourselves, and for the women coming after us.
💌 P.S. This week’s Special Edition came straight from the heart. If it resonates with you, share it with a friend, a sister, or even a partner who needs to hear these words.

Omg, this resonates hard! Hormone replacement therapy changed my life. There is also a great Masterclass hosted by Halle Berry that’s so affirming…
