Ten Toes Down: Standing firm when the Universe tests your readiness
“Peace is my promotion.”
💭 The Test Disguised as Opportunity
The email came out of nowhere: a Manager role in Austin, TX.
Good pay. Equity. Prestige. The old me felt that familiar rush; the urge to move, to fix, to leap.
But after the excitement came something different: clarity.
My intuition whispered, this is a test.
Not to see if I could get the job, but to see if I’d finally stop running from my own becoming.
🪷 The Realization
I realized I’ve been here before, chasing stability by uprooting my peace.
Each time I jumped, I promised myself it was “the last one.”
This time, I stood still.
I looked at the cost, not just the lease, but the emotional energy, the distraction, the detour from what I’ve been called to build.
The lesson was clear: stillness is also movement.
When I said no, I felt my energy return.
🦋 The Power of Stillness
We think growth means motion, but sometimes growth is anchoring.
Sometimes God will send the same opportunity, dressed in different colors, just to confirm you’ve outgrown it.
I didn’t fail the test, I passed it.
By saying no to another restart, I said yes to peace, to alignment, to the life I’m quietly building under my own name.
🔮 Soul Wealth Reflection
Where are you being asked to stand ten toes down?
To trust that staying put, trusting what’s already in motion, is the most powerful move you can make right now?
🌸 Affirmation
“I trust the timing of my life.
My stillness is not stagnation; it’s alignment.”
💌 Closing Note
When you stop chasing the first thing that appears, you make room for what’s truly aligned to arrive.
This is your Ten Toes Down season. Stay grounded, stay faithful, and let what’s meant for you find you.
With grace,
Natalie B.

Whenever I get that rush feeling I recall Psalms 46:10. Be still and know. I agree with you in the stillness and prayers you can watch life unfold in the way it's meant to be. God's plan. But often times the flesh takes over during the process. Then...fear not Isaiah 35:4
