SOUL WEALTH CHRONICLES Issue 73
Fear the Self-Aware
There’s something people don’t talk about enough.
Self-awareness.
It sounds like a positive thing… and it is.
But what many don’t realize is that true self-awareness can make other people uncomfortable.
Because when you’ve done the work…
when you’ve faced your own patterns
your own shadows
your own truths
you begin to see things clearly.
Not just within yourself…
but within others.
You can feel when something is off.
You can recognize when someone hasn’t done the inner work.
You can sense misalignment… even when it’s not being spoken.
And that level of awareness?
It’s powerful.
But it’s also confronting.
Because people who are deeply self-aware don’t just see themselves clearly…
they see through things.
Through inconsistencies.
Through energy.
Through intentions.
And not everyone is ready to be seen like that.
That’s why sometimes people say…
“Be careful of people who are self-aware.”
But the truth is…
it’s not something to fear.
It’s something to respect.
Because self-awareness doesn’t come easy.
It comes from:
reflection
accountability
growth
healing
and the willingness to sit with uncomfortable truths
It requires you to face yourself honestly…
and not run from what you find.
That’s not common.
And once you reach that level of awareness, something shifts.
Your standards change.
Your tolerance changes.
Your energy changes.
You’re no longer comfortable with:
surface-level conversations
inconsistent behavior
or relationships that lack depth
And to others, that can feel like:
you’re “too much”
your standards are “too high”
or you’re “hard to reach”
But the reality is…
you’re just no longer willing to shrink yourself to make others comfortable.
Self-awareness doesn’t isolate you.
It refines your environment.
It aligns you with people who are also willing to:
do the work
be honest
and grow
So no…
don’t fear the self-aware.
Understand them.
Because they’ve walked through themselves…
and came out with clarity.
There’s a quiet strength in becoming someone who sees clearly.
And once you reach that place, you don’t go back.
You simply move forward… with intention.
With grace,
Natalie
