SOUL WEALTH CHRONICLES Issue 74
You Have to Walk Your Own Walk
There comes a moment in your journey where you realize something that isn’t always easy to accept.
You can love people deeply…
and still not walk their path for them.
You can see their potential.
You can see what they need to do.
You can even see the outcome before they do.
And still…
you have to step back.
Because growth is personal.
And timing is individual.
People don’t change because we see something for them.
They change when they are ready to see it for themselves.
And sometimes that means watching people you care about:
stay in situations you would leave
repeat patterns you’ve already outgrown
or take longer to learn lessons you’ve already learned
And that can be hard.
Because when you care, you want to help.
You want to guide.
You want to protect.
But the truth is…
you cannot carry someone else’s journey.
Because the moment you do…
you step away from your own.
Loving someone doesn’t mean sacrificing your peace.
It doesn’t mean overextending yourself.
And it doesn’t mean abandoning your path just to stay connected to theirs.
Real love allows space.
It allows people to grow at their own pace.
Even when that pace is uncomfortable to witness.
There is strength in saying:
“I love you… but I trust your journey.”
That’s not distance.
That’s wisdom.
And sometimes the most loving thing you can do…
is step back.
Let them walk.
And continue walking your own path… forward.
There is peace in releasing what was never yours to carry.
And freedom in choosing your own path… fully.
With grace,
Natalie
