Lucky 77: Remembering My Awakening
There was a moment in my life where everything changed…
and nothing around me looked different.
I had just turned 40.
And one day, I woke up, looked at myself in the mirror, and said:
“Life has got to be better than this.”
It wasn’t dramatic.
There were no fireworks.
No one else even knew what was happening.
But something inside of me… shifted.
That was the beginning.
What followed wasn’t instant clarity.
It wasn’t ease.
It wasn’t peace.
It was a rollercoaster.
My life began to unravel in ways I didn’t understand at the time.
Things fell apart.
People shifted.
I changed.
And if I’m being honest…
There were moments I wished I could go back to who I was before.
Before I saw what I couldn’t unsee.
Before I felt what I couldn’t unfeel.
But now, looking back…
I understand.
That wasn’t the moment my life fell apart.
That was the moment I woke up to it.
We are living in a time where more people are starting to awaken.
And it doesn’t always look spiritual.
It doesn’t always feel beautiful.
Sometimes it looks like:
discomfort
restlessness
questioning everything
outgrowing spaces that once felt familiar
Sometimes it feels like losing your footing…
before you find your truth.
And if you’re in that space right now…
I want you to hear this clearly:
You are not lost.
You are waking up.
My awakening didn’t happen all at once.
It happened in layers.
And I’m still unfolding.
But what I know now… that I didn’t know then…
is this:
There is more.
More peace.
More alignment.
More truth.
More life.
And that quiet voice that said,
“Life has got to be better than this”…
It was right.
