Keep the Faith
This morning’s devotional felt like a whisper from Heaven. “Keep the Faith.”
It was my mother’s favorite phrase, and today it appeared in perfect timing, paired with 2 Timothy 4:7:
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
— 2 Timothy 4:7 NIV
Those words hit differently now. They reminded me that no matter how weary the path has felt, I have remained steadfast. Even through the uncertainty, the losses, and the in-between seasons, faith has always been my anchor.
Then, right after reading that message, I noticed something else: 4,444 followers on TikTok.
Angel number 4444 : stability, divine order, foundation. A quiet confirmation that Heaven sees my consistency, my growth, my perseverance.
It felt like my mother’s way of saying, “See? You’re still being guided.”
I smiled. Because even when I don’t understand the how, I still believe in the why.
And that belief is what carries me.

It's interesting that you reference II Timothy 4:7. On a personal note, today (Sunday, Nov. 9th) marks the first full year of my mother's passing or how I like to say, transition from this side of life onto a better life. One of the things I shared with her the next to last time I saw her was my rendition of the version. She was in hospice and I knew that I needed to leave soon, but told her that I would be back. I wasn't sure if she would be there when I returned. So I told her that if she needed to get some rest just know that you have fought the good fight and kept the faith. So don't worry about us (my younger sister and I), we'll be ok and take care of everything.
