This year my birthday felt different.
Not because of the gifts or the celebration, but because of the feeling that surrounded it.
For the first time in a long time, I felt truly seen.
My birthday weekend in Las Vegas was filled with laughter, surprises, and thoughtful gestures from people who made the effort to show up in ways that meant something to me. Some traveled.
